Welcome to the Co-operative wine tank for the 2025 harvest!
It is that time of the year again where your grapes are swelling, becoming juicy and the vines are looking beautiful.
This email is to inform you of how we will be organising the grape deliveries this Autumn.
This year we will only be accepting deliveries on these specific dates:
· Friday 5 September, Saturday 6 September; and Sunday 7 September 2025
· Friday 12 September, Saturday 13 September; and Sunday 14 September 2025
· Friday 19 September, Saturday 20 September; and Sunday 21 September 2025
· Friday 26 September, Saturday 27 September; and Sunday 28 September 2025
· Friday 3 October, Saturday 4 October; and Sunday 5 October 2025
· Friday 10 October, Saturday 11 October; and Sunday 12 October 2025
The price per bottle will be at £4.50 (1kg grapes = 1 bottle).
This Rosé wine is planned to be released in the spring of 2026. We will be in touch as soon as the wine is bottled.
We will be operating a self-service system this year where you will arrive at the unloading station, you will then weigh your grapes by tipping into the trays provided and recording the kg from the scales. A digital form will be there for you to scan and fill in your details and weight. This will be in the form of a QR barcode which will need scanning from your mobile device.
If you are unsure when to pick your grapes then simply have a taste of 3-4 berries. They should not taste sour, but should be soft, juicy and sweet. If some of the berries or bunches start turning brown or start to rot, then pick them soon and deliver into us on the next available delivery day.
It is important to respect other community members and staff during grape deliveries.
