With the 2020 Cooperative wine showing to be a great success, we are thrilled to announce we will be doing it again this year.
Do you have a vine in your garden and are not sure what to do with your grapes? We can help! We accept all wine grape varieties grown in peoples gardens. With this we create a community Rose wine which you can purchase back the following year. We weigh your grapes when you bring them to us, which allows us to allocate how much you can purchase back the following year.
We are now accepting grapes for the cooperative wine of 2021! Bring your grapes to us on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday starting from Friday 24th September until Sunday 31st October.
We look forward to seeing you and hope this year is as successful as last.
We are very excited to be able to bring our garden grapes to you for the first time.
We will bring them along on Sunday, 26th September.
Many thanks
Excellent – missed last year but had low harvest. Much more productive in 2031 so will be along just as soon as we can pick and travel!
Excellent news. We missed last year but have done it in previous years, resulting in a fabulous Rose wine . Look forward to bringing you this year’s harvest.
This is very exciting.
1. Do you have a minimum and/or maximum weight of grapes which could be part of this?
2. Do you have any advice on how to choose the best moment to be picking our own grapes in this area?
Hi Judith,
There is no minimum or maximum on the amount of weight you can bring to us.
You should pick your grapes when they are plump and sweet to taste. Also as late as possible, i.e. whatever day you drop off to us we would say to pick them on that morning.
Morning do we bring the grapes to the winery or the shop and what times are you open for acceptance…many than
Take your grapes to the winery and they will weigh them for you.
Any time between 9am and 4pm.
Is a well behaved, small dog allowed on site when we bring our grapes?
With thanks
We do allow dogs on site, just not in the restaurant.
